Candle Care Instructions:
Candle Care & Safety
Creating a calm, safe space is at the heart of what we do. Please follow these simple guidelines to get the most from your candle:
General Safety
Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time
Always keep candles within sight while burning
Keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials
DO NOT use with a candle lamp while the candle flame is lit
Candle lamps should ONLY be used when the flame is extinguished
DO NOT place under any covering or enclosed area that could trap heat
Cotton Wick Care
Trim wick to ¼ inch before each burn
If the flame becomes too high or begins to smoke:
Extinguish the candle
Let it cool completely
Trim the wick before relighting
If your wick(s) are trimmed too short, they may have trouble staying lit. If this happens, go ahead and light the wick(s) and allow the wax to melt around them. Then extinguish the flame.
Using a wick dipper or the edge of a small knife, carefully remove a small amount of the softened wax from around each wick to expose a little more of the wick. Once the wax has cooled slightly, relight and enjoy!
Wood Wick Care
Your wick is pre-trimmed for the first burn
Before each burn after that, gently remove the charred portion by pinching it off with your fingers. Or, if you prefer, a pair of wick trimmers works beautifully as well. Simply place the trimmers over the hardened wax and trim the wick. Most wick trimmers are designed to trim to approximately 1/8", making it easy to maintain the proper height and keep your wood wick ready for its next burn.

Burn Guidance
Allow your candle to burn for a full 4 hours on the first burn
A full melt pool may take 3–4 burns - this is a natural characteristic of coconut wax and part of a slower, more intentional burn
